Driving Innovation & Execution in Pharma and Diagnostics R&D

PhD-trained Program Leader with 20+ years in pharmaceutical R&D, molecular biology and clinical diagnostics, leading cross-functional teams from discovery to commercialization

MY STORY

My journey in the life sciences began with a deep curiosity about human biology and a drive to contribute meaningfully to healthcare innovation. I earned my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics, where I immersed myself in uncovering the intricate mechanisms that underpin cellular processes and disease. Following my doctorate, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where I worked on high-impact public health research, gaining a rigorous foundation in scientific inquiry and translational applications.

Driven to see science move beyond the bench and into the hands of patients, I transitioned into the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, where I embraced R&D roles across both molecular diagnostics and therapeutic development. Over the years, I led cross-functional teams in early research, preclinical development, and clinical-stage programs—translating scientific discoveries into products that could improve lives.

As my responsibilities grew, I found myself increasingly drawn to the strategic side of science—program and project management. I began leading complex, cross-disciplinary initiatives, aligning timelines, budgets, and regulatory strategies across global teams. I discovered that my ability to navigate both the technical and operational dimensions of product development positioned me uniquely to drive programs forward efficiently and collaboratively.

Over time, I transitioned fully into dedicated program management leadership roles, where I oversaw portfolios spanning therapeutic assets, molecular diagnostics, and clinical products from concept through commercialization. Whether it was preparing regulatory submissions, launching first-in-market diagnostic tests, or orchestrating cross-functional readiness for FDA milestones, I’ve led teams through the complexities of modern life science innovation.

Today, through Life Sci Consulting Services, I bring together my scientific background and program management expertise to support organizations in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries. I specialize in helping teams navigate R&D milestones, regulatory pathways, and product development lifecycles with strategic clarity and operational excellence.

My mission is simple: to bridge science and strategy—ensuring promising innovations are delivered with precision, purpose, and impact.

My background

I’ve gone through a number of phases in my career, and each of them has informed my current work ethos and philosophy. I have excelled in a number of project management roles in diverse industries, and believe that my number one asset is my ability to adapt to any challenge that is thrown my way.

“Whenever I am in a difficult situation where there seems to be no way out, I think about all the times I have been in such situations and say to myself: I did it before, so I can do it again.”

― JEREMY WATSON

We've worked on many projects together with Brooke at Stilltech, and she's a true asset to any team. She's a team player, but think on her feet and never settles for a no. Her ambition and passion for what she does is uncanny, and it's been a pleasure to see her progress and grow more confident in her professional role over time. I thoroughly recommend her for any leadership or project management roles.

Brooke was my manager at Yeall & Co and taught me everything I know about project management. As an intern, she never treated me differently from other team members – instead, she whole-heartedly embraced my ideas and input. She helped me to think about the bigger picture and implement strategy into my everyday work, but also showed me how to bring people together and unite them for a single goal.
